In order to implement the “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Plan Outline” and the “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Cultural and Tourism Development Plan” on “jointly building a cultural bay area” and deepen the cooperation in the cultural field of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Macao Co-hosted by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR and the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and co-organized by the Macao Museum of Art and the Guangdong Museum of Art Held “Wild Imagination: Contemporary Ink Art in Guangdong-HongKong -Macao from 2000 to 2022” at the Macao Museum of Art during 15th Apr to 19th Jun, 2022.
This exhibition is a touring exchange in Macau following the successful holding at the Guangdong Museum of Art in December 2020. The exhibits include works of ink on paper, videos and installations by more than 50 artists from the Mainland, Hong Kong and Macau. The styles and ecology of ink painting art in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, and in-depth exchanges and discussions on the vigorous development of traditional ink painting in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao after the reform and opening up and the new look in the new era will certainly better promote the cooperation and exchange of culture and art in the Greater Bay Area, and effectively Promote the cultural construction of a world-class bay area. Compared with the display form of only pictures and videos, the VR also greatly optimizes the audience’s experience.
